The Vicious Cycle was conceived as we wandered down street 130, in Phnom Penh's riverside district. There, sitting on a corner was a dusty neglected corner shop. It was unique in that it had various doors to access the different sections of the shop instead of the typical one set of doors leading to a long shop with no air cirulation and no easy access to the rear.

We cooked up a plan to open a multi-faceted business, with a range of services that might appeal to a range of people, but which would all compliment each other.

The Vicious Cycle was born. It includes:

The first professional Bike shop in Cambodia. Managed by Smey Prum, the founder of Khmer Cycling Club, the shop provides professional and complete servicing of any kind of bike. A wide range of parts are available in stock or can be ordered in. The shop also specialises in the sale of re-conditioned, pre-loved bikes. We have bikes suitable for all kinds of activities, including mountain biking, touring, city riding, or even road cycling.

Grasshopper Adventures Tour Shop. The Vicious Cycle is the start point for The Islands of the Mekong Bike tour. This half day ride is a completely unique experience and will show you a side of Phnom Penh and Cambodia that you would otherwise not see. It leaves every morning at 8am from the shop (except Tuesdays) and finishes with a lunch in our cafe. The shop can also provide multi day, guided bike tours to anywhere in Cambodia and accross SE Asia. We can provide vehicle supported tours, or self supported tours, where we send your main luggage ahead and you carry your daily requirements on the ride.

The Vicious Cycle Cafe is a great place to have a good value meal and connect to our free WIFI. We do Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have delicious Khmer food and some creative western food. We also have addictive fruit shakes.

The Vicious Cycle Laundromat is the first self serve laundry in Phnom Penh. When you get tired of having your clothes destroyed by violent hand washing. When you are sick of the soapy residue and the late delivery and the lost items of clothing, come over to the Vicious Cycle Laundry and for $2 you can wash a full load of clothes. For an extra $3 you can then dry your clothes too!
